Clinical Decision Support Disclaimer

NephroSense AI is a Clinical Decision Support (CDS) tool designed to assist licensed healthcare professionals in evaluating chronic kidney disease risk. NephroSense AI does NOT provide medical diagnoses, replace clinical judgment, or constitute a doctor-patient relationship. All clinical decisions must be made by qualified healthcare providers with physician oversight, based on complete patient evaluation including history, examination, and other diagnostic information.

Scope of Service

NephroSense AI provides CKD risk stratification based on routine laboratory biomarkers. The tool generates risk probabilities, feature-level explanations, clinical considerations aligned with KDIGO guidelines, and exportable reports. Results are intended to supplement, not replace, standard clinical workflows.

Permitted Use

NephroSense AI is intended for use by licensed healthcare professionals, medical researchers, and authorized healthcare institutions. Use of NephroSense AI for direct patient self-diagnosis is not supported or recommended. Institutional users must ensure appropriate physician oversight of all CDS outputs.

Limitation of Liability

NephroSense AI and its developers assume no liability for clinical outcomes resulting from use of this tool. The accuracy and applicability of risk predictions depend on the quality and completeness of input data. NephroSense AI has been validated on a nationally representative US adult clinical cohort and may not generalize to all patient populations. Users acknowledge that retrospective validation does not guarantee prospective clinical performance.

Intellectual Property

NephroSense AI, including its machine learning models, user interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of NephroSense AI. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or reverse engineering of the software is prohibited.

Regulatory Status

NephroSense AI is positioned as a Clinical Decision Support tool under physician oversight, consistent with the 21st Century Cures Act criteria for CDS software. NephroSense AI has not received FDA clearance or approval as a medical device. Regulatory status may evolve as the product advances through clinical validation.

Modifications

NephroSense AI reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
